Anyonegot any ideas that might help us?? We'd sure hate to buy a new Laser Printer now with the econony & the holidays around the corner... Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions....

Done repeatedly, on previous date based on other recommendations, but that did NOT resolve this problem/ issue. We've also tried using a damp cotton cloth that was dampened with Isopropyl Alcohol instead of distilled water, (damp, NOT WET) and still not luck!!

Any other ideas? Thanks again for your help...

I've cleaned the rollers several times, but that did not do the trick.
When you reccommend non-cotton cloth, what type of cloth are you recommending be used? I'll look into aligning/realligning and/or changing the allignement of the rollers.

Would a pix of the crinckled printed output from this printer help?

Thanks for your input/suggestions, and any additional info or suggestions you might have.

    Bruce ;~)

It seems that the roller that'pull the page in are misaligned either for want of cleaning or for not being parallel to each other. please start off with cleaning them with moist (not wet) non cotton cloth. If that does not work then they will have to loosened, paralleLed and tightened. For this specialist srevices should be sought as it is highly technical.

Resetting of the rollers is the only option left now.

Fix Paper crinkling on the left of each page starting about half way down?

Crinkling paper is usually due to either an obstruction in the paper path or a bad fuser, which is the part of the printer that heats the toner so it melts to the page. It is located at the top of this printer. It can be a little challenging to see the fuser on this model, but if you look close you should be able to determine if the fuser is bad. You might also have a bad transfer belt, inspect it closely on the side the has the crinkle.

Paper wont feed through the printer-as it goes thru one corner of the paper crinkles up(right side)

You have a bad fuser unit, very expensive and difficult to replace.

Not worth repairing.

My HP 1320 is crinkling every page. I've cleaned everything, changed the toner cartridge, but still have the problem. Ideas?

If the crinkle is a fanning or accordion, it is time for you to replace the Fuser.

This is almost always the reason.

Other then that, small pieces of paper can be stuck in the printing path, often behind the fuser.

Removing the back cover, and then the fuser is the best choice.

Your User Manual provided with the device shall explain how to remove the fuser, though it is relatively simple with limited tools.

Only on Quicken to 3210 all-in-one printer. Paper starts to feed then indicates paper jam, wait long enough and paper feeds with crinkle and no print.

I would check the paper path on the printer where it is crinkling the paper. More than likely there is some small piece of paper or something that is causing it. Does it only do this out of quicken? I wouldn't think so if the paper comes out damaged....

Paper is coming out wrinkled in one spot

Most of the crinkled paper issues I deal with have to do with the fuser roller lining going bad. If this is your issue the crinkle will be a vertical line from the leading edge to the trailing edge. You will need a new fuser.

Paper crinkles

This is what I've seen with wrinkled pages in these machines.
Usually only happens with letter size paper.
At some point a leaking toner was used in the machine the excess toner works its way toward the fuser and builds up on the guide where the paper enters the fusing assm.
You can try to clean the toner thats built up or replace the fuser.
Hope this helps

Printer jam upon exit

Check the paper output area ( around the output rollers) for a small piece of paper. You may need to disassemble the output paper assembly, and clean the rollers, or replace the paper output assembly.

In reality, what you have is one part of the printer trying to "push" the paper, while another part of the printer is trying to "pull", resulting in the wrinkle.. The problem may also be with a paper output sensor being stuck, which is why I suggest you check thoroughly for paper scraps in the output assembly.

PAPER CRINKLING

First check the paper path for something in the paper path. Staple, paper clip, etc, causing the paper to twist. Reseat the imaging unit and see if the transfer unit is seated properly.
But, What sounds most likely is that the fuser needs to be replaced. The rollers are most likely getting pretty bad inside that unit.
If I recall correctly, it is in the $200 range to replace.
