Usually you attach a pair of POWERED monitor speakers to the Control Room outputs to use as monitors.

Yes, that's how they're made: cable cut to length, connectors attached, tested, packaged and shipped.

How do you make an echo on this mixer

You will need to buy an effects unit for this, either delay or reverb depending on the echo you want, there are no built-in effects on this mixer, sorry!

Hope this helps!

Im trying to connect a peavey kb300 with a mackie micro series 1402-VLZ 14 channel mic/line mixer

The mixer is stereo and the amp is mono. The line level out of the mixer MAY overwhelm the KB2 regular inputs so try running the mixer into the PA input jack.

How can I set up my mackie 1402 mixer so I can have (2) monitor mixes

This unit has 2 AUX sends, both of which can be used as monitor mixes. The top controls on each channel determine the pre-fade level for each mix.

Conenct a cable from the AUX out (either 1 or 2) to an amp. The only restriction is that the level control is a knob rather than a slider.

If you have any other questions, please update this and I'll try to answer for you.

How to get reverb in the headphones

Sorry, from the signal flow diagram there is no easy way to do this. You could have a seperate reverb for each channel as an insert, OR pick off the aux outputs into a reverb unit snd run them back into the stereo returns... The effects on phones will also be on the mains and will NOT be present when SOLO is selected.

Im trying to hook up two sets of passive speaker, one pair is connected to a QSC amp and the other pair is connected to a Kenwood amp. Is this possible without using another mixer like a mackie 1402.

you should be fine, you can get splitters, little adapters to split the input cables into 2, so that you can use one ouytput to run 2 channels. just hook up the output cables to the output on the numark, and use the splitter adapter to split the sound between the 2 amps.

What type of fuse would you use for Mackie tweeter?

I would contact Mackie and see what they say. The MR5 is already protected internally by the built in amplifier circuitry as far as I know. They can be reached here:http://www.mackie.com/support/index.html

Looking for sliders for mackie 1402 vlz pro how much are they?

You can purchase the channel faders directly from Mackie Service Dept., you can replace them yourself if you're good at soldering - HOWEVER, be advised that disassembling the unit to get at the faders to replace them will require a lot of time and patience if you've never done it before. If the faders are not moving smoothly, it's possible that the wrong type of cleaning spray was used on them and there's a possibility that they could stop moving and controlling sound.

Hooking up powerd monitors to a Mackie 1604 VLZ3

Are you sending the main mix to the monitors or are you giving them their own mix? What about using the sub groups, use 1 for your monitor send.
