Mur What are you putting the chair in to transport? If it is a van then you can move the seat back forward or backward (using the seat back release lever on the chair) enough to get it in the van or SUV. I used to transport them in a 98 Jimmy but had to tilt the back all the way back to get it in. Lowering the seat I don't think will give you enough clearance to do that cause it will only lower about 3 inches. Hope this helps

I have a John Deere LX178 lawn tractor and the mower deck will not raise/lower. It is all the way down and pushing in the button is how i've ALWAYS adjusted the height. It will not budge

1) NEVER adjust to where the deck wheels touch the ground. The wheels are to ride 1/4" off the ground. 2) The long lever to your left which raises & lowers the deck has 3 settings. 1- Fully back toward you which has the deck raised (called transport mode). 2- Halfway down which is the normal mowing mode (called float mode) 3- Fully away from you which sets the deck fully on the ground. This mode is ONLY used for VERY rough terrain where the deck risks getting pushed into "transport" or "full up" mode & getting stuck there. 3) On front-to-back tilt, the front should be 1/2inch lower than the back for least damage to the grass. Ok-now to adjust "cutting" height. 1) Park on a level, flat surface. 2) Pull the deck lever fully back toward you to put the deck into "transport" mode. 3) twist the "cutting" height knob (just below your seat) to the height you want the grass cut. Has choices by 1/2" increments from 1" to 3.5". The deck in "transport" mode is 4". 4) Lower the deck lever to the midway/"floating" mode point. 5) Adjust each deck wheel with its own peg & pin to have at least 1/4" clearance from ground. Thats it for "cutting height" adjustments

I have a Majesty Yamaha scooter. The seat is too high for me. I need to lower it 3 inches or adjust the one is able to tell me how to do this? Help Vicky

To open the seat you turn the key to the left in the ignition (rather than right like normal) and the seat catch should pop undone. You can then lift the seat up. Make sure you do NOT push on the key when you turn it otherwise it won't work.

How hard is it to remove the seat for transport in a SUV

jim not too hard unless its not been removed in a while. Unplug the joystick cable running to the rear of the chair pull up the seat release lever usually on the right side of the seat and twist and lift up on the seat at the same time hopefully the seat will lift right off. Now before you try all that remove the headrest from the rear seat and lift up on the seat adjustment lever and fold the seat back forward as far as it will go. Measure the heigth of the chair in that position and measure the heigth of your SUV opening if it is 3-4 inches lower then the chair should fit without having to remove the seat. You could also unscrew the armrests where they go into the risers at the rear of the seat and lay them on the back of the lowered seat back and drive the chair into the SUV using a ramp. This used to work for me when loading into a Jimmy SUV Hope this helps you

How do I split a yamaha HS 8 IN TWO PARTS TO TRANSPORT

At the back there are 2 screws between the upper and the lower part and under the lower keyboard 2 screws also. Remove the screws and disconnect the headphonejacks under the lower keyboard, also the pedalconnection plug. Now you can lift the whole upper part from the lower part (preferable with 2 persons). The best way to transport this upper part is to put it in a sleepingback (just fits!).
Kind regards,

HOW TO INSTALL THE DRUM UNIT for ir2230 copier

Open front cover of copier. Rotate lever (I think it's blue) to lower transfer/transport assembly. Rotate Developer/Toner assembly handle to move assembly away from drum unit. There is either a phillips screw or a plastic gripped screw that needs to be removed. Then, carefully, pull the drum unit 2/3 of the way out. At this point, the back half of the unit needs to be supported while pulling the rest of the way out. Open new drum unit. Remove all packing materials with red tag attatched...especially black paper covering new drum surface. The new Drum Unit has guides on top that line up with guides in the machine....carefully insert unit in copier until it seats FULLY. Reinstall screw to front of unit. Rotate Developer/Toner Assembly lever to cam back against Drum Unit. Rotate Transfer/Transport Assembly lever to lift assembly upward and latch. Close front cover.
