Your manual is no longer available as a single document, but you can download and print individual sections of it, at no cost, here:

Realistic uhf/vhf model 20-400 pro 58 ten channel. Where can I get an owner's manual?

Good Evening Pam

Radio shack has a listing of Scanner resources here:
Radio Shack Realistic Scanner Manuals The materials for the Pro 58 are here
http://support.radioshack.com/support_electronics/8570.htm and gives access to specs, parts list, features, and a guide to scanning. It's very mid-20th century in appearance, including using type-writer style fonts.

Hoping this helps!

Looking for a manual for a Realistic Patrolman Pro 40 UHF/VHF Scanner. I don't even know what kind of power supply it needs.. LOL

Hi, that unit looks to be a mobile scanner and if I'm seeing right then you would need a Base power supply that could supply 12volt to it. Course you could also use a computer power supply and find the 12 volt line out on it. Here is the link to some spec's for it. Looks also to be crystal controlled so it cannot be reprogrammed. Good luck.

What is the hyper symbol on the display

HYPER appears when scanning; while Hypersearch is active during a direct or limit search.
Hypersearch
- lets you set the scanner to search at
up to 300 steps per second in frequency bands with 5
kHz steps, compared to the normal search speed of
100 steps per second.

Hyperscan - the scanner automatically scans up to
50 channels per second to help you quickly find interesting broadcasts.

Realistic patrolman pro16A radio scanner, do not know how to program freq, this scanner does not have crystals, does anyone know how or have a manual??

I have checked several sources, and they all show that the PRO-16A is a 16-channel VHF/UHF CRYSTAL scanner. Remove the bottom cover and you should see the crystal sockets.

Im trying to program my Pro-70 Hyperscaner

To program a known frequency into your PRO-70:

- Press PGM. PGM appears on the display, indicating that the scanner is in programming mode.
- Enter the number of the channel that you wish to program (1 - 50), then press PGM again. As an alternative, press PGM repeatedly until the desired channel number appears on the display.
- Enter the desired frequency, including the decimal (for example, 156.045).
- Press E/L-OUT to store the frequency.
- Repeat steps 2 - 4 to program another frequency.

Your scanner's operating manual has details on other programming steps. If needed, you can download/print the manual here:

I lost my code sheet and I can't program my scanner any suggestions? It's realistic Pro 2023 Scanner

Radio Shack has a pretty good search feature for old instructions on their website. You will need their part number off the unit, which will be something like "20-321". Do a search and you can get a PDF instruction manual for it online.
