Question about Black & Decker String Trimmer Cordless 12" 18V

1 Answer

Weedwacker I'm weary of products that work for a month and then die an abnormal death. LOL Weedwacker (weedwhacker) engine works fine but blade at bottom only turns if you turn it to the sun - in other words, if you're trying to trim edges of lawn, it won't turn but if you flip it, it will. Weird! Great, though, if you want to trim something up under an edge like the bottom of a boxwood - LOL. Could it be the shaft slipping in the proper position but somehow reconnecting and working when horizontally flipped upside down? The product is not listed here - it's a standard weedwacker with gas motor.

May snap? or has snapped? The blade is not turning in the proper position and only works if turned upside down horizontally. What would cause the blade to not turn in the first place in its proper position?
