Question about Keurig B60 Coffee Maker

1 Answer

My keurig B60 just stopped working all together last week. When I plug it in, it doesn't go on. It's not quite one year since I purchased it. Any suggestions? Also this is the 2nd Keurig I've purchased that shut down on me.

I agree. I've been trying to use this site for 2 days now and am getting no where. Either they don't understand my question or recognize my product and it seems as though the answers are not human but automatically matched up. So far, useless.

I bought the B60 almost 2 years ago and out of the blue, one morning, it stop working. I tried to plug-unplug a couple of times and no: it's dead!! I had no problem before that. What can I do?? Help!!

Lots of problems with the B60/65/70 units. There are some really good videos on you tube, but trust me, the process to fix is going to be a pain and cost ~$50. You should consider taking yours back for an exchange. There is a known problem with these models and it appears the retailers are being very generous on exchanges (check this out: http://babelniche.wordpress.com/2012/03/10/keurig-dumps-inventor-builds-millions-of-junk-coffee-makers/) .... Good luck......

Keurig

Check the needle that pierces the bottom K-Cup, those can clog which can cause it to run slow.

You might also try de-scaling it: http://www.keurig.com/customer-service/brewer-registration-and-support/~/media/FD69E91A51CA41BEBF4CCAA138325BBF.ashx

If this doesn't help, it could be an issue with the B60 itself. If it's under warranty still, call Keurig, they'll likely send you a new one. The B60's seem to have control board issues. Every once in a while mine acts up, and I have to pull the plug, reset it, and fiddle with it til it starts working correctly.

I have a Keurig B60 for about a month now and it's starting to give me some issues... 1) after brewing a cup of coffee, the motor in the unit will continue to run for a good minute and then shut-off...

It should still be under warranty if you only purchased a month ago. I have a friend who had problems with this machine after 3 months. She contacted Keurig at www.keurig.com and they were very accommodating and sent a replacement unit. She says so far so good with it.

New Keurig B60 stopped working!

I had the same issue. I now believe that there was some "vapor lock" type issue. Mine would say the same thing, and i could hear the pump running, but the water level was not changing in the reservoir. I unplugged it, removed the reservoir, let it cool, then tipped it on its back for a few minutes, then on each side. Truthfully I was trying to see if there was some kink in the tubing. Couldn't find a problem, so set it back up and it runs great again.

Keurig B60 makes coffee at random all by itself

Try plugging it into another outlet, preferably one on a different circuit breaker. If this works call an electrician. I have seen electronic devices do all sorts of strange things when the power is bad.

Keeps tripping GFI outlets

The key here is to identify the problem as being either the coffee maker or the GFI receptacle... a simple test can be done as follows...
Try plugging the Coffee Maker into another GFI receptacle .. you may have one in the bathroom? If it trips that too, then you have an internal wiring problem with your coffee maker.. if it doesn;t ..then your GFI receptacle may be bad or on the verge of going bad .. either way..this should narrow the problem down to one or the other.. hope this helps..
