Whos the expert problem solver here

I have had the identical problem with my Sony A4.  I unplug the IRD for 5
minutes and plug it back in, the problem disappears. It has happened 3 times
since February.  (before and after card was modified)

IRD, no question about it.

Sounds like it Ripp. I wonder if it's a Sony???? A friend had similar
problems with his B-3. He should switch IRDs to rule out LNB, cable,
or connector problem.

Not hashing...all channels intact.  Video seems to have the quality
similar to that prior to a rain storm.  Video is never completely
interrupted just 'glitchy'.  Video seems to break up in blocks or lines
up and down the screen.  Very faint but annoying after a while.  I am
current on all usw (33).  The signal around 90 on all transponders (at
the current time I checked).  The weather is clear and there is nothing
blocking the dish.  This has only been happening since friday.  I have
another thrower spoofed card, spoofed with same bin, different IRD but
same model in the house here and it has no problems.  I have rebooted
the IRD and problem is there when I flip through the channels.  Anyone
heard of this, any ideas appreciated.

Thanks as alway to Intek, Super Dave, Bubba and everyone.  Might be
testing...might be using Thrower 33.  If I am it is working.

Before you buy.

Check cable connections at the LNB, also check the dish for crap on it.
Worth a shot.
