Question about LG 55LH40 55 in. LCD HDTV
its obvious that the the picture/display board of your TV is defective, that's why there is not display.
Of course, this will need to be repaired for the TV to display again. Despite the fact that its a new TV, electronics are very daisy as the TV may have a factory error that may have caused the display to damage so quickly.
I would suggest you take the TV back to where you bought it and replace it with another. Its too soon for a week old TV to have this type of fault.
I don't think it will be goo d you use your money to fix this TV.
