Question about Nikon Photography

My D70s' battery was ejected - my choice -, and even with the directions in the manual, I cannot get it to seat into the camera. I know where is is supposed to fit, but I'm having some difficulty in gettin 'in', and closing the camera door. Any suggestions? Jeff in San Antonio. jhunt15@satx.rr.com

When I press the shutter camera clicks and Err appears next to battery level. No picture taken.

This can be due to many issues. Check the battery to be sure it's charged. Be sure the lens in seated properly. You may want to remove the lens and replace it. It could be a defective CF card. Try replacing your CF mem card with a different one. Let me know.

My camera will not focus and take a picture.. I am receiving a r07 on the top screen and nothing seems to be helping. Any suggestions?

"rXX" is the cameras estimate of how many shots legt on your memory card. As for other issue: Turn camera "ON" and remove battery while holding shutter button for about 30 seconds. Turn off, reinsert battery, turn "ON" then press hardware reset button on bottom of camera for about 2 seconds. Page 200 in Nikon d70 (do not know about d70s) manual.

My camera, a nikon d70s, wont turn on and work. ive taken the battery out and out it back in, still wont work. i then tried 2 charge the battery but still wont work. i then tried to re-set it but it still...

If the camera does respond when you hold down the shutter release, then the internal clock battery may have drained. As the manual says on page 17, charge your main battery, put it in the camera, and leave it be for up to three days.

Nikon D70S How do I delete images with "File

You should have a file protection option in the camera menu, access the picture, press the menu button and look for the protection options.

You can download the user manual from here:-

Hi i got a D70S Nikon camera but i wanted to know where i could get a charger for it please.

You can find them on ebay, and most of the electronic stores (Best Buy, Ckt City, etc.) sell a charger that will charge many different batteries. Just look for EN-EL3, which is the battery in the D70.

Installing a internal battery for the Nikon D70s

I have not done the replacement yet, but I can tell you where the battery is. It is located underneath the USB/Power connections on the left side of the camera. There are several covers and boards to remove to get to the battery.
