I would remove and clean cartridge and replace spout o-rings. Lube o-rings and grooves they set in with heat pruf faucet grease. Wipe off excess grease and reinstall spout. I would also check to make sure you have a good seal between faucet base and sink surface. Look for signs of leaks from around base and remove faucet and put good seal in using plumbers putty. After you secure faucet back to sink top scrape off excess putty and wipe with paper towels till clean. Hope this helps you. Thanks
