Question about HP Photosmart C7280 Printer
If you were printing color copies, then by default, HP printers set themselves the print quality settings to High Quality, which means, when you print black, you'll get the high quality print-out, i.e, the combination of colors to make black without the black cartridge and the result is Greenish texts or graphics.
Sometimes if we print and switch between color and black frequently, we need to keep changing the settings as well.
Open "Printers & Faxes" folder from the "Start" menu or from the "Control Panel", right click the Printer's icon, select "Printing Preferences", click the "Color" tab..click the radio button "Print in Grayscale" again from the selectable option, select "Black Ink Only", "Apply" then "Ok" and try again. Note that this settings will become the default print settings, but if you need to print color documents, you can simply select from the print options/settings at the time when you give the print command.
