If this problem still is not fixed you can go online and purchace the DeOxit and add a drop onto your USB port and USB plug in hole - you may not be making good connections...($6 easy repair)

OK, you need to download the latest Easyshare software from Kodak.com and remove whatever software was on there before.

Kodak updates its software every few months or so, and this could very well be the problem.

After downloading the Easyshare software, try to reinstall the camera software by turning the camera on while the camera is connected with the usb cord to the computer.

The camera should install the right software off of the Internet if the computer is equipped with Windows 7 or Vista (I believe it would anyway).

This may solve the problem with the other Kodak camera that sort of works, as well.

The easiest and most foolproof solution is to use an external memory card reader. This will also give you faster data transfers and frees you from the need to use the manufacturers own somewhat clunky software.

How to put pictures on a computer with a kodak easyshare c613 digital camera?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

How do transferr pictures from camera to computer using USB port and my cable

You can either connect the camera with a USB cable (one should have come with the camera), or you can buy a small USB card reader into which you insert the camera's memory card.

Kodak EasyShare C613 not able to connect through USB

I had part of this problem. Click on the "add pictures" button, and find your camera on the screen in the upper left hand part. THen choose the photos you want to download. That is how I do mine. If that doesn't work, just keep trying. I had to try for a LONGGGG time to get mine to load. I used to have to pay to get my photos on a disc..

The camera is supposed to go blank when connected to computer.

I hit the "share" button and can then download photos, even though screen is still blank.

Cant download photos from kodak c613 camera to ps3

Hello. I have the same problem with my Kodak EasyShare C653 on my 40GB PS3. I am sorry to announce it is not compatible with the PS3.
If you have a different version of the PS3 (unlike my 40GB), you may be able to use your SD card on your PS3.
If this doesn't work, download the pictures onto a computer. Transfer the pictures or video to a flash drive (USB key), and upload to your PS3.

There is a certain thing you can buy that has a cord that hooks up to your computer, and then you put your camera in the little holder and it uploads. BUT if you dont want to spend your money on that, yes you need a USB cord to upload. Your camera should have come with A USB cord, manual,CAMERA (:, a software disk, etc.
