Question about T-Mobile Dash Smartphone

2 Answers

Storage space I keep getting a message on my TMobile Dash saying..Your phone is running low on free storage space. Delete old or unused items to create more space. I thought this was due to having alot of programs running but it is coming up when I am not even using anything. I just want to know if there is anything I can do myself to fix it. I also just got the phone a week and a half ago. Thanks for the help in advance.

I'm having the exact same problem. I have deleted photos and texts, and stopped all applications, but it comes up no matter what.

Look in UAContents folder. IT's keeping a copy of every image you send via MMS. Delete those and you're set.

That means that you installed a program and its taking a lot of memory from your device. even tho you installed it on you storage card. uninstall it and restart your phone and you should be set. if that wasnt the program then check some what prior to before your last installation and uninstall that one.

My HTC P4350 is running low on free storage space

The system have used nearly the maximum internal memory available: Storage: Total 33.45 MB; In Use: 32.80 MB; Free: 0.66 MB Program.

If you already deleted or moved to memory card your files, that means that the space is taken by installed application/games, or by files left over by previously installed applications.

Save all your files on computer and do a complete reset of the HTC, restoring system to factory settings.

My HTC TOUCH PHONE is constantly throwing up an error ''YOUR PHONE IS RUNNING LOW ON FREE STORAGE SPACE.DELETE OLD OR UNUSED ITEMS TO CREATE MORE SPACE''. I have stored nothing much on my system memory...

Have you ever cleaned or reset your Pda? If not, then do it. It may happen due to your temp files which is using your space. Before you reset, backup your all datas and contact.

HTC 3125 Star Trek No memory

There are 2 different sets of memory - the built-in "Storage memory" & the microSD "Storage Card".
You can see how full they are:
1: Run "Task Manager".
2: Choose "Menu", choose "System Info".

I'm guessing that your Internet Explorer cache is large, filling up the "Storage memory".
To clear it:
1: Run Internet Explorer.
2: Choose "Menu", choose "Tools", choose "Options", choose "Memory"
3: Select "Temporary Files" & "Clear". This will run a minute or so.

Can you help me in fixing this problem

Hi Buddy... I had a similar problem and fortunately came across this tip on this link... http://mycusthelp.com/Voq/supportkbitem.asp?sSessionID=&Inc=148 Here's what you need to do : The steps to perform While the Voq Professional Phone turned off, remove the battery and then reinstall. Flip-open QWERTY thumbpad. Press and hold space key and simultaneously press and hold On/Off button until the Voq Professional Phone turns turns on completely (approximately 5 - 10 seconds). The space key and On/Off button may be released after a blue screen will appear stating Factory Reset Mode!!! Erasing flash... Percent Do not interrupt the Factory Reset until the Home screen appears. (approximately 3 minutes) Recommended tasks to perform after IPSM reset. Setting the time and date configuration Setting a GPRS connection and Internet connection using GPRS God! trust me these chaps saved the day for me, they're amazing. Hope this'l solve the problem for you. Cheers :-) vinod@lakesys.net
