Looking for driver for HP1522nf printer for windows 7 64 bit

Disconnect the divice uninstall the driver restart the laptop and then reinstall the driver again restart the laptop then connect the device it works.

It might be the same printer but sometimes Windows creates new virtual ports. I suggest unistall and reinstall if you haven't try that. If the problem persist check in the device manager (just type that in search of windows) and check if the unit its recognized under universal serial bus controllers. If its there you have a software issue, sometimes it will be there with a yellow exclamation mark, just right click on it and then click on update driver, follow the instrutions and choose recomended actions always. If its not there, change the USB cable, or increase the USB Speed in the printer menu, under service from high to full. If you have a network connection the might have a different IP address so with the reinstall will be solved

Hi. If your printer is the X6570, there is a driver for Windows 7 available for download in the Lexmark website. First, you have to uninstall the existing driver. Go to Start > Programs > Lexmark 6500 Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. Then, reboot pc. Also, checkif your pc is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by going to Start > right click Computer > Properties.
