Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 Digital Camera
This is a known issue on a number of Sony cameras and even if out of warranty they have been offering free repairs.
Contact the Sony service centre in your country to find out whether your camera is covered. They will try to scare you off by saying that if the fault is found to be due to a different cause then you'll have to pay, but every DSC-T200 and T300 I've sent back so far has been a free repair (you pay only the shipping, Sony pay the return shipping costs).
