i have same problem too it says "we dont support this file" when i try to download a video

I have the ArcSoft Media Converter2 and STILL can't get transfer movies to the Player. The progress bar will get to about 98 to 99% and then freeze up when trying to convert to the device. When I convert to file it works fine but when I try to drag and drop the file to the device, I get a pop up window that states the file can be moved there for storage but will not play.

said it downloaded but when I checked it was not there.

There should be some software that came with the player that converts video files to a compatable format for the player.

The software is the ArcSoft Media Converter2 and the parameters should be 320x240, 512 video, 128 audio.

Another program you can try is Media Converter 2.5 intro (trial) version on the Arcsoft website. This seems to also do a terrific job at conversion.

Best of luck to you!

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night, whatever time you are viewing this. You are having trouble downloading videos onto your MP3 Player? Well there is a reason for and you probably won't like this... There is no way you can play videos on this MP3 Player. Sansa Clip doesn't support video files, only music files and audio podcasts. Sorry about this, but FixYa encourages you to come visit the website again soon. Again sorry, but I hope you have a good day, evening or night, whatever time you are viewing this solution post.

I cant find my softwear cd rom.

Normally Insignia does not have the CD contents available for download as a whole since it is mainly Rapsody which is available separatly, and the video converter software is commercial software. So normally you would just download Rapsody if you need it. However, Insignia mp3 players can use the generic mass storage driver in almost any computer. When you plug in the USB cord, two extra drive letters will show up in Windows Explorer. Songs go into the Music folder. For neatness: Make new folder for each artist and under each artist, make a new folder for each album.

Also slight chance the USB mode got off of Automatic in the player's options.

Insignia

Use the installation disc included or Windows Media Player
if these don't work simply
Open My Computer then a folder should appear saying "insignia"-something , open this folder and go to Music.
Go to where your music is stored [My Music] or rip or download music and simply drag them to the music folder on your mp3player.
