Eps light coming on

1. disconnect the battery both terminals.
2.Look for EPS control module on front passanger deck below dashboard, disconnect the cable connector
3, spray both EPS and cable connector with contact cleaner aerosol.immediately plug in back.
4. Right above EPS module there are Air Con piping make sure the condensate water do not dripped onto EPS module by covering it with plastic sheet.
5. Spray all cables to battery terminal with contact cleaner and connect it back.
6. Start your engine .
In case it still dont work ,you have to look further into EPS motor.

I have a 1998 dodge stratus. 2.4 L 4 cyl engine. smoke began coming from the back aarea of engine just in front of dashboard; radiator full. not running hot. oil level ok. no leak. no light indicato

Could be oil dripping from the valve cover onto the exhaust pipe.
One drip can cause alot of smoke when it hits the pipe.
Could be power steering fluid too.

Whooshng sound when A/C is on and we make a turn to the left - sounds like it comes from behind the glove box...followed by water dripping from under the dashboard, mostly on the passenger side but...

the condensate outlet pipe is blocked ,look underneath dash and look for a pipe running out through the firewall then locate the end and clean it out

Water coming from tail pipe.

how much water? it is possible for water to get in there and some to form in there. i see many cars with water coming out the exhaust pipe. this is what contibutes to rusted mufflers. is there a performance issue with the vehicle? any check engine light? look at the oil dip stick for milky oil meaning water is mixing with it. Is the coolant reservoir dry? please reply and good luck

My dashboard light or green background on the odometer side is very dim. How do i lighten up the green background on my 2004 Range Rover HSE???

There should be a dimmer switch like a roller on the dash or connected to the light switch. It may be also in the form of a button you push upwards to brighten and downwards to dim. Let me know how it turns out, The Raz

Improper hose conection water coming out exhaust.

If your shure that a hose is on wrong then there is a place it goesonto that is also wrong . Two wromgs. The only place that a hse could be on wrong is at the exhaust asperater tube that hooks the EGR vavle to the exaust manifold. The heater hoses hook next to each other behind the engine going though the firewall. Follow these hoses back to the motor and see that they don't connect to the pipe on the lower left side of the exaust manifold. If its doing that remove it and see if you can find another hose the same size that will reach the exhaust tube and connect it and vise versa connect the other hose there. The Hoses can be alright though and the engine has a bigger problem a blown head gasket or cracked head. On some models the catalist converter has a hose hooked to it remove it and see itf water comes out, if shouldn't but if it does follow it back to the engine and unhook it there. If water ( Coolant comes out ) ( You may Have to add coolant not water to the cooling system to tell ) then this connection should be connected to a heater hose that you found going thogh the firwall. If you still dont find the problem and the cooling system holds presure and the water coming out the tailpipe is coolant and the engine runs OK ( I dought it). All engines produce a little water when running mainly when run shortly and not warmed up, it will appear black in color and not smell like antifreze. A prankster could have put the garden hose or man hose up the tailpipe to worry you some suspect those that helped point out the water in the first place. The exhaust hoses hook up to the air cleaner housing and pipe and the water hoses hook to the firewall a pipe on the back of the block and a short pipe hooked to the water pump. Repair manuels have pictures of the hoeses in the cooling system chapters.
