Can the voice on my telephone be changed to another voice?

You may have your phone set to send calls directly to voice mail. If you have your telephone owner's manual, you will find the directions to check that setting and make sure calls are not sent directly to voice mail. Or, that kind of setting may be a feature of your telephone service company, as it is for ours. In that case, you will need to use your computer to go to your telephone provider web site, log into your customer account, and make the changes to your call answering there.

The CL2909 does not have an answering system. Thus the number of rings will depend on the caller's patience or your voice mail service. You need to check with your telephone provider to find the procedure to change the number of rings before your voice mail system answers the call. You'll have to get into the voice mail system and then access those options.
