Question about Mitsubishi VS-60603 60" Rear Projection Television

Mitsubishi 60603 The screen is blue, but PIP shows up. We went away for the weekend, it was fine when we left, but was like this when we came home. We know we lost power at some point. Any idea's?

    I have the same problem with bue screen after power outage. I also was able to get picture on PIP while the main screen was blue. I was able to switch the PIP picture to the main screen and the PIP screen went black. When I push the PIP button again the main screen goes white and the still have the black PIP screen. How do I get rid of the PIP screen after stitching the picture back to the main screen.

    After we unplugged our tv, we cannot get rid of the pip box. I can get the picture on the big screen, but the small pip box won't go away. Can somebody help?

Try switching your pip to the main screen and see if the pip shows blue while the main screen works.

Unit warmed up slowly, then took several times to stay on, not it will not stay on. Guessing power supply capacitor.

You would have to completely take the Mirror out or Mylar backing and being careful not to damage anything, trying to move and reassemble when you get at the new location.

Loss of picture


Fixed this problem today.. Go to Menu > Setup > AV Connections (Select Home Theater) > "Locked to Input 1", select "No" or "Off". Voila!
