Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
I have a Dell Inspiron E1505. When I boot up I never know whether I'll be able to see the screen or not. It's an intermittent problem but more times than not, the screen is completey black. I'm assuming this is a inverter or backlight issue. Any ideas? Also, can it be fixed on location so I don't have to give up my computer for several days.
Thanks for your insight.
I have the same type of Dell laptop( I am on it right now). It sounds like your graphics card is going bad. And if you are still under warranty and contact Dell, it is possible that they will come to you to fix it. If you are Not under warranty, it is still very possible to get them to come to you, but of course you will have to pay for services and parts if your computer is still not under warranty.
