have you tried other a different flash drive of something like a usb charger etc? If it works then then the problem is with the flash drive, if not them its with your USB port

My flash drive have an ioctl error. the drive can still be recognized only can be accessed. how can i fix this problem. my usb flash drive is a kingston 16GB?

I have a kingston usb flash drive 256mb but it shows 0mb in windows when I format on cmd prompt it shows IOCTL error does any one have a proper solution or utility to remove this problem

maybe your usb files are corrupted ,do the quick format

start--------right click on computer then click on manage then device drivers ,see if usb drive right click then format

Could not open - acess denied


Carefully examine your Kingston for a tiny physical slide switch! You have probably accidentally moved that switch into the "LOCK" position!

PEN DRIVE ERROR


sounds liek a corupt upper or lower filter for cdrom devices also in usb section of registry.
prety much.. remove upper and lower filters and retry. or u got acess denied to system registry sections.
