Question about GE Microwave Ovens
I have had the same problem with the handle of this microwave. The reason the handle broke off is because the latch springs are too strong and the handle is flimsy. They do not sell just the handle because, in my opinion, in removing the handle you could compromise the safety of the microwave radiation leakage, if you do not know what you are doing. When I realized that the springs were too strong, I weakened them, I repaired the flimsy handle several times with plastic epoxy. GE engineers did a lousy design job on this one.
