I would definitely contact the manufacturer since most of them have a one year parts & labor warranty and they'll fix it free.
If you have your owner's manual, you can find their number. If not, please reply back with your brand and model number (or brand at least) so we can help you.
Sounds like a bad door switch or relay, and also possibly a bad magnetron or high voltage diode.
