The final solution is a factory reset of your router. You can do a factory reset by logging into the router using you browser. Go to the settings and perform a factory reset

If you forgot the router password, you ill have to do a factory reset by locating a small hold on the back of the router and insert the tip of of paper clip for about 10 seconds while the power is on. The router will be reset to out of box status and then you can set-up form scratch.

SOURCE: wireless secured network key code

Hi BabyDoll - to find your key, log in to your router. Enter 192.168.0.1 into your browser. If the defaults haven't been changed, the user is " admin" all small case without the quotes. There is no password. Just enter the user and leave the password blank. To get the key, click on the wireless button on the left. Then look down the page and you'll see the passcode fields. This is what you're looking for. Also take notice of what's above it such as WPA, WEP, etc. Write this info down. You can also go into your pcs that you use wireless on and put that key in and the kind of security (WPA, etc) so that it will not ask for it every time.
If this solves your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If not, DON'T RATE YET. Let me know what happened and I'll be happy to assist you further. If you need to know how to enter the info so that you won't have to enter it all the time let me know. I'll help you with that. Let me know what happens. Thanks.

SOURCE: D-Link Wireless Router DIR-625 unable to connect with D-Link DWA-130 adapter

Called the Support Line. They suggested changing the DNS Server gateway to 4.2.2.2 and the alternate to 4.2.2.3. Leave Obtain IP Address automatically. Make these changes in the properties of the NIC card. Also uncheck IPv6.

SOURCE: Problem for D-Link DIR-615 Wireless Router, Orange Power Light

I have had multiple problems with these routers. They tend to drop signals or have other issues that are hard to explain in a few short sentences.
After you rebooted did you open your browser and type in the IP address to connect to the router software?

can you be more specific?

hold the reset button on the back of the router for 10 seconds and the router should reset back to factory settings and you have to set it up again. Here's the manual though. bottom of page 62. instruction if you forgot password. But it works the same.

You could try a reset to factory on the router

somewhere on the router there should be a little hole with a button inside labeled reset press and hold it in with something like a paper click for 5 seconds or so then release this should reset your router to defaults. You will have to reconfigure your settings such as your wireless password after this.

hope this helps

Can't connect pc to router

Your router is Wireless, so you can connect either with a RJ45 cable or via wireless network. With the wireless card installed in your computer you should be able to access the router after installing the wireless card's software. As an alternative, run a RJ45 cable from router to the network input on your computer. Again you may need to install software for the network card.

The router should have some default settings in place. You could reset to factory settings if that helps or log in with a cable directly and try to go to http://192.168.0.1 and check the configuration settings for DHCP
