Do not spill liquids on the Nintendo DS, Game Cards or other components or accessories. If the Nintendo DS comes into contact with liquids, wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth (use water only). Remove the battery cover and battery. If liquid came into contact with the battery, do not reuse it. Call Nintendo Customer Service at 1-800-255-3700 for further instructions on battery replacement and possible service to your Nintendo DS.

Try syncing the wiimote to the wii itself. Underneath the SD card cover on the front of the Wii and inside the battery compartment on the wiimote are red buttons. Hold both of these at the same time for 5-10 seconds and then try again

Just purchased Wii Console with games, remotes

I remember seeing that on my Wii. It's an animation effect, kinda like the mouse trails on Windows. I do not have a Wii in front of me right now (at work), so I cannot say for sure if there is a setting to turn it off. I can add a comment to this later when I get home.

Good luck.

How to set up the 2nd Wii Nunchuk with Wii MotionPlus

First of all, you DO NOT need a Wii MotionPlus for Mario Kart Wii.

Insert the Nunchuck through the port on the Wii Remote. Turn on the remote. This should make it work. If not, replace the batteries. You need 2 AA size batteries.

Wii Handset Motion Sensor Not Working

It could be one of a few things.

1. Your sensor bar is no good, can you get the pointer icon on the wii's main menu to work properly?
To fix this you'll need to contact Nintendo and get a new sensor bar or buy one of the third party ones, Nintendo should help you out though.

2. The accelerometer in the wii is stuck, which does happen from time to time.
To fix this turn the Wii remote so the buttons face towards the floor and slap the back of the remote firmly(not too hard!) with the palm of your hand. It should work if that is the problem.

3. The accelerometer is broken or otherwise rendered useless.
To fix this you'll have to contact Nintendo.

To get a hold of Nintendo 1-800-255-3700 they're very friendly and it never takes very long(I got helped in 5 minutes the day after Wii was released.) Best of all, Nintendo doesn't outsource!
