Probably best to get the drivers from the manufacturer - 3COM.

You should describe your problem with a little more detail!
If you search on the web, you find some posts, that they do not have drivers and that this device does not work on WinXP, Vista or 7 without drivers. It is said that it works on LINUX. So what do you use? Do you have drivers installed for it?
What do you mean by 150m in your question. A ethernet-network may noot be longer than 90m + 6m +4m from device to device. If you need to brifge 150m you need a repeater or, even better, use a fiber-connection.

Flashing Green light???

Try plugging it into your other computers. If it works that means it may be driver issues on your desktop. Now if it doesn't work on the other computer your device is bad. On wireless adapters packets get collided. After two years of packet collusion your adapter will go bad. Now these days adapter like that is cheap to get these days.

Usb ethernet adaptor doesn't work

Good day sir, I suggest you check your Lan cable cat 5, to see if its broken, the led mean link, since it is not lit up, the line I assume is broken. Im interested on your first ethernet hardware problem, why is it, that it does not work?

I may help, I'm assuming you are using a laptop, you should get a PCMCIA lan card, which much more compatibility.

Need driver for the planet WL-3563

Planet Technology no longer supports your product, therefore I couldn't find any official driver releases.

I did, however, manage to find this website which is offering your driver:

http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=291459

No, you don't have to pay for the driver. Once you click on the driver's file-name to download the driver, select the option, "Download this driver by viewing a series of ads." Afterward press, "Continue > > >."

Once the ads appear, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click the link reading, "No Thanks." Continue that process until the download initiates.

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Let me know if I need to describe any of the steps mentioned above in more detail. If I solved your question, please rate my solution. (-:
