SOURCE: Error 13.20.00 on HP laserjet 5200 jam inside top

This is a common issue and most times a bear to repair. There is a sensor flag mounted on the paper feed assembly behind tray 1 which has a habit of either coming off or the spring which moves it back a forth comes out of its holder. In any case it is one of the worst repairs you have to do. Many items have to come off to get to it and getting that flag and spring on correctly even with the instructions is difficult. Usually what will happen is you get the 13.20.00 error on power up with no motor movement and when you open and close the top cover, the motor will move but the same error reappears. If you are lucky it is just a case of a shred of paper blocking the sensor flag from moving and worst case of the flag having come off. You will need the service manual and check the removal and replacment section on the paper feed assembly and play close attention to the 3rd page.

sometimes this error also appears if a wrong fuser is installed in ur printer that is not ur model number.... have it checked
thank you have a nice day

SOURCE: Hi I had a paper jam in my MFC 8820d - I removed

This can sometimes be related to paper dust interfering with a sensor. A burst of canned air can fix the problem. Just pull out the toner, open all of the covers and spray air into all the little crevices. You might want to do this outside, in case toner is loose in ther, so as not to make a mess.

Can't clear 01 fuser jam

open top scanner, open inner cover where printed paper normally comes out. push left and right locks on the fuser and the fuser will come out. remove jammed paper. put back together in revers order. paper jamming in the fuser is a sign the fuser is faulty/worn o non genuine toner is being used.

Hi Good day!! here are the steps how to remove paper jam in brother hope it help's you!!
1. Pull the paper tray completely out of the printer.
2. Pull the jammed paper up and out of the printer.
3. Press the cover release button and then open the front cover.
4. Pull out the drum unit assembly. Pull the jammed paper up and out of the printer. If you cannot remove the drum unit assembly easily at this time, do not use extra force. Instead, pull the edge of the jammed paper from the paper tray. If the jammed paper can not be pulled out easily, turn the jam dial towards you as you gently pull the paper out.
5. Open the face-up output tray. Pull the jammed paper out of the fuser unit. If the paper jam can be cleared.

8. Pull the Duplex Tray completely out of the printer.
9. Pull the jammed paper out of the printer or the Duplex tray. Put the Duplex tray back into the printer.
10. Push the lock lever down and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit assembly. Take out the jammed paper if there is any inside the drum unit.

Comes up with paper jam. Open cover, remove drum and removed jammed paper. Had a look no jammed paper, looked at the back fuser area, no jammed paper. Removed paper try, no jammed papper. Can u help

If your printter is showing the message even after you have made sure that there is no paper inside the rollers , it is sure that the sensors- optocouplers- or the input amps for the sensors are defective. Youmay need to check on these individually to confirm. Identify them justt placed beneath the rollers take in guides. Check if thedetector is emitting even without the paper. use a multimeter to check of rvariation of votage with paper or without paper to confirm. hope you try this out and confirm. Good day,

Paper jam

This is a very easy fix.
  • First, open the front cover.
  • Next pull out the black thing that is right there.
  • The cartridge is inside of the drum, and the drum is what you need to pull out.
So basically, when you open the front cover, you need to pull out the thing you see, and you need to pull it upwards for it to come out. The paper should be under it or behind. Hope this helps! If you need pictures, just email me-eran_4h@hotmail.com. GOOD LUCK!

What is media jam fuser error

It means there is a paper jam in the fuser (the hot part that fixes the toner to the paper).
Check if there is any sheet jammed inside your printer or if any sensor is in the wrong position.
If everything seems to be ok, you may need to replace the fuser.
