Question about Dishwashers
To remove the smart dispenser, remove the door panel first.
The outer door panel is secured by twelve screws, this are 5 Phillips head screws on each side and two 1/4-in. hex scresw at the bottom:
Unless needed, becareful NOT to remove the set of 4 screws (2 per side) holding the escutcheon to the door assembly. These screws are removed only in case you need to gain access to the control module, active vent, ? apper, and door interlock switch. Screws indicated below should not need removat to access the dispenser assembly:
Insert a small ?at tipped screwdriver into the slot in the side of the retaining collar and turn the screwdriver handle counterclockwise while turning the reservoir access collar counterclockwise a quarter turn. Remove the retaining collar. Unplug the tube from the reservoir outlet and then disconnect the sensor wring from the cHow do I remove the - 9a7bee0.jpgle:
The smart dispenser plastic collar cannot be removed without damage. The collar Must alwyas been replaced when you disassemble the dispenser. (See door parts for this model here).
