If you are looking for the sprocket that goes on the door end of the T-rail you can call any Chamberlain or Liftmaster dealer in the yellow pages. They might even sell you a used one off an old opener they have changed out.

I need to know the size of the center hole on a 19 tooth transmission sprocket for an apc mini chopper Thanks

Why do you need to know the size of the centre hole. That one look in great condition. The size is the size of the shaft it fits on, so you measure the narrower distance, which is between the sprocket tooth that is under the middle of your thumb nail, to the second tooth past your index finger. All this links have info.

Why doe my sprocket on Husqvarna 455 keep tearing up the drive part of he chain

Are you sure the pitch of the chain is the same as the sprocket, ie if you are running a 3/8 pitch chain you need a 3/8 sprocket, if this is correct then you need to address your chain tention and sharpening.

I can't get my chaing to stay at a normal tension. it either gets too tight or too loose! is this a common problem? perhaps a defect? or whats the solution

assuming you have the chain adjuster in the bar adjuster hole. This and the bar nuts will normally keep the bar in place and the chain adjusted. However if your drive sprocket on your saw is worn (deep grooves where the chain rides on the sprocket) it will cause the chain to try and climb over one tooth pulling the bar toward the saw loosening the chain. This can also happen if you put a worn chain on a new sprocket. In the end this overtight or loose condition will lead to failure of your sprocket nose bar. One other way can be the chain, the bar and the sprocket are not all the same pitch.

How do you rePlace the chain on the 455 rancher?

You take the chain cover off of the bar. It is two nuts. Take them off and the cover will come off. Slide the bar toward you and the chain will become slack. You can then slide off the chain from the sprocket. To put a new one on. You will need to turn the chain adjustment back all the way to the left. Then put the chain back over the sprocket, then onto the bar. Put the chain cover back on and tighten the chain back up. Then tighten the two nuts back to tight.

After new clutch sprocket &good bar &chain chain r bar moves prematuely and chain comes off bar nuts r tight

have you made sure that chain pitch and gauge are the same as the sprocket pitch pitches can be 3/8 lo pro 0.50 gauge

    .325 x 0.50 gauge , .325 x 0.58 gauge

    3/8 std x 0.50 or 3/8 x 0.58 gauge or 3/8 x 0.63 gauge

you could even have the correct drum but wrong rim sprocket on it

worst case is you could have mismatch bar and chain

make sure that bar adjjuster assy is working correctly

recheck chain / sprocket pitches and bar pitch and groove
    gauge

be sure that you fitted chain to rim on sprocket correctly when you fitted bar and chain?

is the clutch cover pulling down tight ?

have a look and let me know if and what you find

    cheers paul

    Chain adjustment question

Well i dont think the ride hieght will change, nothing you could notice, and if your changing sprockets its best to do both and a new chain, now i might add that it is preffered to change chain with sprockets not required if the sprockets are ok. As to the length i can only say i run the 17 tooth around the city and for the long trips i swap back to the 18, mind you it is a new 18 not the original, of course with the change back (2nd time) i have not changed the chain and have been running the same chain length, it has shortened the wheel base from the original 18 tooth front, but i kinda like it a little shorter, gives me more weight over it and the front gives more feed back, but thats just me, not saying its right
