Phone Problem Ok, so phone is brilliant... i mean amazing love it! However, i left my charger at a friends who lives a few miles away the other day so put my sim into a different phone while i couldn't charge. This afternoon i got the charger back. So i put my sim back in the phone, along with the battery. The problem is i cannot now turn the phone on. Even after leaving to charge for several hours i still cannot get it to power up. The strange thing is that when i have it plugged in the LG sign comes so i know the charger is working. Please help, i want my baby back... lol!! Many Thanks JCaiine

My w880i dont turn on it just blinks a red light i holded in "C" and it still dont turn on how do i fix it

the red light on my friends phone usually means it is charging the phone (it is totaly dead, then it comes to charge screen after few mins) it should be ok if you try to start it after a few mins of charge..
if not try getting a new battery, it might not be holding its charge.

I have had this charging overnight but it won't charge. What should I do?

Hello Friend,
It depends on what you mean by charging overnight.
1. When you connect the charger, it shows on the phone that it's charging but after a while if you unplug the charger, it's still not charged: if it's the case, that means the battery is dead and needs to be replaced.
2. When you connect the charger, it doesn't show the phone charging: in this case it can be the charger brocken or the phone charge connector is faulty. you can verify that by moving the charger connector a little bit and see if it will start charging, if not you can try with another charger. if it doesn't charge even with another charger, at this time i will say for sure that the phone charge connector is faulty and needs a repair.
Best Regards,

IS THERE A WAY TO HAVE IT SET TO PHONE CONTACTS AND NOT SIM CONTACTS??

Hi friend,

Do you mean you want to add the contacts to the phone not the SIM card?

If so, you can set it.When you add new contacts, you will find two or three options:To SIM 1/To SIM 2/To phone, if you want to have the contacts to phone contacts, you just need to choose the option"To phone",then it's OK.

If you want to move the contacts that you have already added, you...To get more useful information, you can visit here:www.1010store.com.

HTC Shadow II I just purchased this phone used but i got a brand new battery for it. Its been charging for over 30 minutes but it will not power even for a short few seconds. It seems to be dead except for...

I'm afraid that you most likely have been suckered, my friend.  Look on the back of the phone. If the little round sticker (about the size of a pencil eraser) is red, the phone has liquid damage and is most likely causing the battery not to take charge.  If it is still white, then you may have a chance at having the phone replaced by your service provider but the person you purchased the device from will have to place the exchange for you.  Is this also a new charger?  Could be the USB port.....  Good luck!

Just got an exchanged pantech duo

the issue may not be your phone or the battery. It may be the charger. My friend and i both have a pantech duo. She was always having problems with her battery, draining just after two hours. The funny thing was that whenever she used my charger, the battery kept charge. I tried my phone out on her charge, and found that it didn't keep the charge either. So we went to the store and found that it wasn't the phone, it was the charger.  Often the charger can mess up the phone. Order a new charger, and that should be the solution to your phone. (:

My phone got wet

I fixed a few "got wet" phones by doing the following:

> First, check phone's manual or search on internet to see if it has some type of fuse. If so, check this fuse for continuity. If fuse is OK, proceed to dry out phone using one of the methods below, or think of an arrangement that would be just as good.

> Take battery out, dry it with towel. Keep battery out of unit and away from heat.

> Using a gas oven that has a working pilot light (small single flame), you can dry out the rest of phone by placing a cookie sheet on oven's middle rack..place a small towel on cookie sheet...and put the phone (with the battery cover off) on towel.

> Making sure pilot light is on, leave phone in oven for at least 2 days (48 hours). This technique will dry out the phone without turning it into a lump of plastic.

> If need be, make sure no one turns the oven on during this time by taping the oven's temp knob so that it won't move easily. Also, having an explanation note taped to the main knob helps.

> What if I don't have a gas range? Use a food dehydrator with at least 6 trays, phone on top tray-well away from heating element. The dehydrator should be set at lowest temp. Still use 2 days as drying time.

> Do not use an electric oven unless it can be set for 120 degrees F and does not go much above that temp.

> Use of a thermometer with ANY drying method is recommended. Place thermometer right next to phone. If temp goes above 120 Deg F, adjust whatever you can to keep temp in check.

> If you have no other choice, an electric lamp with a 60 Watt light bulb will suffice.....just get a cardboard box to contain everything......and play with the arrangement for correct temp and most important, make sure light bulb is not near anything that might possibly catch fire.

> With any solution that uses heat to dry phone, make sure you check temperature several times during first day and a few times on the second day.

> If everything goes as it should, your phone will be dry...inside and out, ready to check!

> Replace battery and it's cover, hook up phone charger......and see what happens.

> If it still does not work, that would strongly indicate an internal short circuit....especially if phone was turned on when it got wet. Time either for a new phone, or have original phone fixed.
