Hi, I have just bought a sharp view cam model VL-E34H , it has a battery and a battery charger which one end plugs into the mains and the other end into the camcorder, my problem is i cannot find the socket on the camcorder to plug it in but i am told there is one on the the cam. Please can you help or if not do you know were i can download the manual . Kind regards Yasmina
This style camcorder has an adapter that feeds off of the battery charger...the charger plugs into the wall on top of the charger you place the battery and if you look on the front of the charger you will/should have an outlet that looks like two holes. This charger should have come with an adapter that looks like the battery only it is attached to a cord. You should than be able to open the battery compartment and insert the corded (battery) and presto it works...if you do not have one you can contact Sharpusa.com
i went to sharp's website but it seems model # you have is for battery-not camcorder-website is sharpusa.com and enter model # to pull up manuel-go to support section

Our JVC GR-D33 camcorder has nothing but dark grey and black on display. this is both thru the viewfinder and the LCD. Sound is working fine. Playback of previous tapes is also fine, both audio and video. when we first turn on the camera to record, a message comes on that says "lens cap", even though the lens cap is off.
