Question about Saeco Magic De Luxe Espresso Machine

Open Question

Saeco Magic Deluxe The red light with the water drop icon is blinking red. I turned the machine of and unplugged it over night. I the morning I plugged it in, the machine started normally, no blinking lights. I pushed the brew button - it cycled normally - grind to pump but stopped short of dispensing - then the red light begins to blink. I tied dispensing water from the wand - no problem, hot and a full flow. Any help would be appreciated.

SOURCE: Saeco Magic Deluxe resets itself before completing brew cycle

Hi Try reprogramming the machine. Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button. If that doesn't fix it, then you might need a new flow meter.

SOURCE: I have a Saeco Magic De Luxe. I am having a problem intermittent

Could be the pump not providing enough pressure to force the water through the coffee. When using beans or preground, can you still hear the pump function?

Open the door on the right. The brew unit is the thing with the handle that has the push on it. You need to push on the upper left side of the brew unit until it clicks. There is an outlet spout on the opposite side of where you are pushing. It goes into an intake port that needs to be lubed, so the outlet spout will slide in without pushing back. That should take care of the missing brew unit.

On Vienna Deluxe after the beans are ground and ready to drop the espresso shots, nothing comes out and the red light goes on? I shut the unit off for a minute or so, turn it back on and it works ok, but...

Solid red light is a ventilate light.. Try Priming the machine to see if the light goes away.

Something may be in the flow meter. Its the while device between the water tank and the pump of the machine. You would have to open the machine and clean out the flow meter.

Also, if you haven't descaled the machine already, I would start there.

magnet in the water tank may have died. This happens when water somehow gets into the magnet itself.

check www.saecooutlet.com for a replacement or contact them for a replacement part.

Could be the pump gone bad or the flow meter.

Neither is easy to replace. Needs to be brought in for fixing.

Saeco Magic 2nd light to the left (ON RED LIT)

Sound like descaling warning light, need to run descaling solution through the machine (follow instructions, you can download a manual on saeco's website) this light can be turned off by pressing and holding the steam button for 5 seconds.

Saeco Magic Deluxe - trouble light on

Not sure which light you are refering to because the far right light shuld be temp ready light. The one you describe slunds like the descale light but that shouold be second to from the left. In which case it is telling you to descale. I can't attach a manual here so do a search for saeco repair and an authorized repair center should be able to get you one.
