Question about PC Laptops
This is a tough one. Usually this type of damage is considered customer damage and would not be covered under any type of warranty. That being said, if the reason for the break is a defect in the hinge itself, then that would be covered. I would suggest that you call Gateway first before you incur the expense of sending the laptop out.
