Check your resolution and change them. This happens sometimes when a monitor can not handle certain resolutions.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Google page not centered on monitor

You don't specify if you're PC or Mac User.

If PC user then it should be easy to fix. Top right corner of your web browser program should have three symbols: a minus sign, a box and an X.

Try clicking with your mouse on the box. It should make the program viewed slightly smaller. When it does you can move your mouse to the top of the window (usually a blue bar) and while clicking the left mouse button you can move it wherever you like (centre it).

It's more of a temporary solution and if the window is too big to fit the screen you can move the mouse to the left, right, bottom and when you move over the edge it will turn into a line with arrows at both ends.

When it does that you can click the left mouse button and drag the edge of the window to make the window smaller. Adjust each side as needed.

To fix things permanently you may have to adjust your monitor's settings using the buttons on the monitor itself. For that you're on your own as I don't know how to adjust every monitor's settings.

Good luck!

My laptop screen resolution is already set to 1200 *600 and windows 8 does not support in that screen resolution they want to 1200 *768 what can i do

  1. Open Screen Resolution by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search), entering Display in the search box, tapping or clicking Settings, and then tapping or clicking Display.

  2. Tap or click Adjust resolution.

  3. Tap or click the Resolution list and find the resolution marked (Recommended). This is your monitor's native resolution-usually the highest resolution your monitor can support.

Screen Resolution in Control Panel shows the recommended resolution for your monitor.

Monitors can support resolutions that are lower than their native resolutions, but text won't look as sharp and the display might be small, centered on the screen, edged with black, or stretched.

The display on my new widescreen Samsung monitor is not centered. It is too far to the left. There are no obvious buttons to center the display.

TRY RIGHT CLICKING YOUR MOUSE HOLDING IT DOWN ON YOUR PICTURE AND DRAG IT TO THE RIGHT.

IF THIS DOESN'T WORK...THEN, LEFT CLICK ON YOUR DESKTOP...GO TO CUSTOMIZE MY DESKTOP...CHANGE HOW YOU WANT YOUR SCREEN DISPLAYED.

HOPE THIS HELPS!

Picture not centered on my philips 47'' lcd tv

NOTE:(Edited and copied from another thread on Fixya.com, c7carl)

Picture is not centered on monitor leaving a 2 1/2 inch; black border on Philips LCD
By dmorrow54 on Nov 13, 2007
Again, nothing in manual for Philips LCD will correct the fact that the picture in HD-D mode will not center. The picture runs off the monitor on the left (facing the monitor) with a 2 1/2" black border on the right (facing the monitor). Using the format button on the remote of directional arrows will not correct the issue. The wide-screen/ full-screen function with format does nothing. Moving into TV mode, the format function works to display screen in several ways 4:3, 19:2, super-zoom, wide-screen, full-screen. Help, please. posted 3 years ago

I have a Philips 30 inch LCD and solved the problem by using the circular arrow button on the TV remote. Pointing it at the TV and clicking "right" (3 o'clock on the button), the picture moved right. Same thing on for "left". Worked for me.

WOW! It works!! The picture on my Magnavox (aka Philips) 37MF321D had shifted to the right. I figured I had a big repair bill coming up soon. But hey! Just used the TV remote as described by "Guest', and re-centered the picture to the left. Wallah! Thanks ""Guest" whomever you are! Reply

Screen is size is to large can't find minimize box

Not enough information. What window are you talking about? Press the "windows" button and the "M" key to minimize everything. Right mouse click on the center of the screen and select "properties". You can then change your resolution so that things fit properly.
