Logitech FreePulse Wireless Consumer Headphones

No sound from left side (by 5 users)

posted by DMcq on May 29, 2008

I've tried recharging, and holding both buttons...I used them daily...the left side just stopped working. Any suggestions?

Same exact problem with the left headphone not working - happened all of a sudden today... do we just need to get replacements?

I have the same issue except I have no sound on the right.....the controls work on that side (power and volume) but I only get sound from the left side

I have the same problem. This is the second set I've had that has developed this problem. I received this as a replacement and its broken again in just 2 months.

I suspect that the problem is due to the sliding 3.5mm jack on the transmitter. As it gets slid more and more it gets loose, meaning that eventually it freely moves without much pressure. Therefore it slides a lot and has worn the wires connecting to it. This is evidenced by the fact that at the start wiggling the slider would restore sound to the left side but as time went on this became less effective.

I am currently attempting to open the transmitter on the older set to try and fix the problem. If I find I am able to do it I will post photos.
