Have you set the selector mode at the lens to A/M?
or else, the focus lock is set as AF-C, for general use just select AF-S mode

Is there a solution to make the 70-300 nikkor f/4-5.6g af zoom lens auto focus with the Nikon D3000

Sorry, no. This lens relies on the camera having an autofocus motor, while the D3000 will only autofocus with lenses having their own autofocus motor.

My camera nikon d3000 suddenly stopped working...the lcd has no display, and even the viewfinder...it happenned today..it was so sudden..i was clicking pictures and suddenly it stopped working

Try resetting the camera by removing the battery for 15 mins, replace the fully charged battery, go to the Menu setting and set the Date and Time.
If it still does not work then - this camera needs to be sent away for repairs. Just like a motor vehicle, some repairs to your camera require a technical specialist to fix your problem.

I have a Nikon D3000 digital camera. When I turn it on the info menu is displayed on the monitor and I cannot see the image that I am shooting. When I turn the info menu off it turns black and says...

That is the factory setting. If had seen the image on the LCD before taking the picture, then there was something seriously wrong with the camera. The D3000 works as SLRs have worked for over half a century, providing you with a viewfinder to compose your photos.

What digital nikon cam works autofocus in a nikkor micro AF 105mm f/2.8D?

This lens lacks the autofocus motor, so it will only autofocus on cameras with the motor. This lens will autofocus on every Nikon digital SLR except for the D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, D5000, and D5100. It will autofocus with the D1 family, D2 family, D3 family, D50, D70, D70s, D80, D90, D100, D200, D300, D300s, and D700 (I hope I haven't left any out).

I'm suddenly having an issue w/ my new D3000. When shooting, the image doesn't show on the screen. It does appear after shooting for review, but when taking the photo, the screen is black/grey. I haven't...

If you've really been seeing the image before taking the shot, then there was something seriously wrong with your camera which now appears to have fixed itself. The D3000 doesn't have the LiveView feature. The screen is for the menu and reviewing images you've already taken.

See my answer to your other post.

One more addition for the D3000. Older autofocus lenses without a built-in motor will not autofocus on the D3000. Only AF-S and AF-I lenses will autofocus on the D3000.

Stopped working and all digital figures displayed!

If the display is not dim the battery is probably OK. Try removing the battery, test it anyway, and after a minute or two replace it (I'd use a new one anyway) and see if the problem is cleared. Sometimes just power cycling will "reboot" the watch. If that doesn't do it I'm afraid it will need to visit a Breitling service center.

Kenmore bottom freezer refrigerator

This sounds like the Maytag bottom mount that has a High Voltage Control Board problem. Does this have the freezer/fridge temp. display/controls on the left hand fridge door? Whats the model number and on the manufacture tag does it something on it like Code:0304 maybe? Let me know I may have an answer I do work on these for a living.
