Replace harddrive on sony vaio s560p

We ran a typical VGP-BPS9/B battery of tests, including games, applications, and a couple other areas. Time constraints limited the amount of testing we could get done before the NDA lift (and it's already a few hours late), but we will be providing a follow-up article with further testing and information. That said, if there are any specific areas that you'd like to see tested, feel free to e-mail me or leave a comment.

if you already performed a recovery and you have the same problem, then it is a hardware problem. it could be a video card or memory card problem. if that is the case, your computer needs service. you can call sony for assistance

    Save Data if possible.

Use Restore System; Restore Computer to Factory "New" Condition.. Sont Vaios have a Key Prompt which you hold down while booting and the Replacement Software already on a Sector of the Hard Drive. Check THe Manuel for this OR CALL SONY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND JUST GIVE THEM THE MODEL NUMBER AND ASK THEM WHICH BUTTON YOU PUSH ETC TO RESTORE THE COMPUTER TO "FACTORY CONDITION"

Restoring my Sony Notebook to factory settings

Make new disks from the 60G HD before replacing it. If there is no restore partition then you will need to clone your old drive.
You need a HDD cloning software like Norton Ghost, a usb 2.5" drive enclosure.
