Question about Toshiba Satellite A100-S8111TD Notebook
I have an old Toshiba Satellite Laptop (an A10-S177; Part No. PSA10U-01SVS7). It interfaces with a field instrument and is specific with the instrument, so replacing it is not a good option.
Yesterday while in the field, a corner of it got wet. After drying out, it will not boot.
When on battery power or housepower, the charging light flashes yellow in a repeating pattern of 5 - 2 - 1.
Any help you give me would be most appreciated. Note that the product model selected is not my particular model, but the closest I could come to it.
Try to remove the ram then hard drive. now remove the batteries then insert the ram back without the hard drive, power yr system directly from yr wall sucket without batteries n see what happends. i think i should power on. other wise try using a dissferent ram on it.
