DSCW50 question i saw your post on error code E:91:01. what did you do to fix this? ive tried everything but nothing is working. please help!

Card locked ive tried everything!


Not sure if you meant nudging the slide switch on the card, or the switch inside the camera slot (another likely culprit). Either way, please see the following as it may help. I don't recommend that you open the camera either unless you see an obvious problem inside the slot that can't be corrected through the slot:

Lens


Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

Camera lens stuck


Look at some of my posts today.
This may be that the lens is off track and may be able to be pushed back by a little force as you start the camera....see my other posts on this problem.

i have the same problem out of no wheres the lcd screens says card error ive been formatting allmy cards for the past 2 days & no luck whatso ever! its brutal im lost with out my camera any solutions???
