Re: Sim registration failed
Most of this nokia phone(the old ones) do often experience such problem due to it's constant falling on the ground. in such cases after restarting the phone the problem should be corrected for a while...............using a NEW sim card and practically the one of a network with the strongest signal does in most cases rectifies the problem a bit. all the same i would ask you to send it to a phone technician for more help. good luck

If your Nokia 6300 phone displays an error message saying "Invalid Sim (or) Sim Registration failed" then your phone is probably network locked.
You can unlock it easily by using an unlock code. You can get this code at reasonable cost from TheUnlockArena.com with easy step by step unlocking instructions and unlock it.Then you can use freely any GSM network Sim card.
Hi by what you have said ,to me it sounds like the hand set is barred,if the phone was bought from new i would take it back if it is a second user phone they may have reported it has lost, but try another sim in the phone it may not like that sim. hope this helps.
SIM Card Registration failed, means your SIM card serial number does not exist in your SIM provider's Server.
Generally when a SIM not used for a long period (About 6 months or any fix duration by SIM provider), the company remove that SIM card serial number from server.
In some cases if your SIM is new then it might not be activated by company, so you can ask regarding this the customer care of your SIM provoider.
