Question about Gateway MX3560 Notebook
I downloaded the drivers, and installed them as instructed. There is a little yellow exclamation mark on the driver in the device manager. When I click on it, there is an error 10. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as reinstalling after recovery CD. Even after all this, I still get the exclamation mark. Are there other drivers out there that I can use?
I have a second hard drive that works, but the drivers were loaded 3 years ago. That tells me that the wireless com. works.
so I'm stuck. Gateway says I have to buy the $20 factory recovery disk, but the only thing not working is the driver.
I have a suggestion:
right click on the yellow exclamation mark then update driver then search for driver automatically if nothing happens go to manufacturers site and try downloading the driver to them directly.

Obtain an ethernet cable and connect to the Gateway Support site using wired network temporarily to download and install the proper wireless driver.
