This is something that is designed into the feature of this combo stack unit and cannot be bypassed at this current time - from my research.

There is a belt that goes around the outside of the drum. Remove the back and/or top of the washer and see if the belt is intact.

There are a couple of reasons why the fabric softener will not dispense. If everything else dispenses properly (detergent and bleach), then I would suspect a bit of plugging. If the softener remains in the dispenser, the water valve above the tray may be sticking. You'll have to get the top up to check it. If there is water in the tray, or some water/softener, then you'll need to look at the overflow cap. Here's how that works: Your dispensing trays for bleach and softener have a raised tube built into them, and each is covered with a loose fitting cap. When water is let into the tray, the level rises under the cap until it overflows, creating a syphon. The softener is literally pulled from the tray, and chased by the water. When the water stops, the tray level continues to drop, until air gets into the cap, breaking the syphon. The cap can be removed and cleaned. Sometimes the tray has to be removed first. Theres a catch towards the rear of the tray.

NO, All of the fridgidare products are bad. Buyer beware. Check out more internet if you need further warning. Spyder bracket and drum bearings on the front load fridgidares are a money pit. Buy and LG from anyplace but Sears. Buy anything otherthan GE,Electrolux, Kenmore, Hotpoint from Sears.

I have a Fridgidaire Front Loader Washer _ Affinity that flashed the E10 error code. I also had the problem with the fabric softener dispenser not emptying, and staying full of water. The problem was the cold water filter on the back of the washing machine that was semi-plugged. Cleaned the filter and now works perfectly. My machine is no longer flashing the Error code 10. The dispenser works perfectly.

Unplug unit! Remove top screws and pull off top lid of dryer. Heater terminals should be at top right. Use ohm meter to check resistance. If ohms won't display, then your heater unit probably has an open circuit. For instance, my GLET1031 has a reading of 12.5 ohms.

Open the bottom and check to see if the shocks are good.
