Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

My Razr will only accept calls, voice dial and voice record keep looping.

When I turn my phone on, I keep getting the voice dial message or voice record prompt. This won't allow me to access the menu, and the only number I can dial is the 1 voice dial I assigned. My phone is also running really slow, but I can still turn it on and off.

If it helps, I dropped it in the sink a month ago, but I immediately took it out, removed the battery and didn't put it back in for 2 days.

Please help!

Your phone is water damaged. It may help to let it dry out further, but most likely it is beyond help. You could sell it for parts on eBay. People will buy water damaged phones on there too.

My LG VX6100 won't accept voice messages

Problem solved! Turns out that my son didn't realize that you have to call your voicemail box and delete voice messages by pressing "7" on the keypad. He thought that when you pressed "erase all" on the text message menu it erased voice mail, too. So the mailbox was full, as it only holds twenty messages. Sometimes the most obvious solution is the solution!

I have had this same problem. Remove the battery while the phone is turned on, put the battery back in, turn on phone and it should be fine. Good luck

Recorded message after my personalized greeting

This isn't in the phone. It's in your voicemail preferences. Listen to all options in your voicemail settings. Just keep listening for an option number for settings after it tells you that you do or dont have messages. If you dont find something fairly obvious call *611 and tech support should be able to talk you through it. Call from a phone other than the razr.

Keypad doesn't seems to work - seems locked - gets incoming calls

under tools there is a record option. erase all things that have been recorded. the button on the top screen on the right hand side allows you to record phone calls. You have probably been hitting it on accident and recording calls and such. Let me know if this works.
