Maybe. Check for your normal clogs near the drain (you have probably done that already).
Can you hear the pump running and water flowing inside when you run a wash cycle? The same pump that circulates the water empties the machine too. If the pump is pumping normally in the wash cycle there may be a bad or obstructed valve or drain line. If you remove the drain line at the valve you might find something in it. If not, the next step would be to check the drain valve with an ohmmeter.
If it's not something like a clogged line or faulty valve then it's probably in the timer or computer and it might be time to call somebody.
Good luck!

Can you replace just the dryer on a frigidaire gallery heavyduty?

Good Afternoon friend, thank you for your post!

From what you have described your Frigidaire dishwasher is not draining. Before contacting a professional technician I would advise you to check the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher tub or your drain line to assure there is no restriction. The filter is located at the bottom of your tub under the spray arm. If that is dirty it could cause your dishwasher to not drain. Additionally if your drain line has a clog or restriction it will not allow water to pass through. If both components appear to be clear I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform a diagnosis. This will help to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Can you hear the pump trying to drain it? If you can then you have a blockage. Try blowing hard down the outlet hose, what happens? Have you checked all filters?

Dishwasher won't drain properly

Common cause of this issue is a partially blocked drain line. Disconnect the drain line and make sure the entire path is clear, including where it hooks into the sink drain or garbage disposal. Also make sure the screens at the bottom of the dishwasher are free of debris.

WATER IN MY DISHWASHER

my dishwasher did the same thing last week and it was the garbage disposal. I had to run the garbage disposal and clear it out and then reach my hand in the dishwasher to check for any items blocking the drain. I had nothing and clearing out the garbage disposal did the trick.

Dishwasher does not drain

My dishwasher will not drain. The water stays in the bottom of the dishwasher. When it should drain, I do not hear anything happening where I used to hear the pump working. Is my pump bad?

Dishwasher issue

Have had this problem twice on my DWI614. First time engineer came out and I watched what he did and asked questions. He removed panel at bottom of dishwasher (2 screws) after removing facia panel from kitchen as it is a built in dishwasher. To the right is the drain pump. Remove 1 retaining screw and hose retaining clip. Ease out the drain pump and make sure to have some cloth beneath as residual water will flush out. Before I did this the second time I removed as much water from inside with a small cup first. Both times I had blockages in the drain pump. First was a piece of glass and second some food. I also pulled the drain pipe forward and blew through to make sure path to sink was clear. Clear out and reassemble. Start a simple program before putting the front back panel back on and you can touch the drain opump and feel it working as the water drains properly. That was my fix both times, good luck.

Dishwasher won't drain

Since water doesn't drain out ,it could be a clogged in the drain line. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. You should remove this line and clear it form any debris in the hose or the hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Good luck!
