Question about Kodak EasyShare Z1275 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Turns Off Put new batteries in, took a picture and the picture didn't show up. Then the camera turned off. This happened once before but I forgot what I did to be able to use the camera. This time before it turned off the yellow light flashed on the back of the camera then the camera turned off.

Hey MaryKing,
I would first try taking out the batteries and waiting a couple of minutes and reinserting them, and if this doesn't work I would try a new set of batteries (battery manufacturers' sometimes do make faulty products). The next thing you could try is cleaning the battery contacts with a soft dry clean clothe. If you can access your set up menu there is a reset option that resets the camera to the manufactures default settings. If none of these options work I would have it looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

How to get photos off a nikon coolpix internal memory

Two alternatives: Remove the memory card before connecting the camera to your computer, or use the Copy command to copy the pictures from the internal memory to the memory card and then download from the memory card.

My nokia n900 got wet when it was on and i didn't took out the battery for some while after that i cleaned all teh outer parts with tissue paper then again i tried to turn it on but it just didn&#

Hi once if a phone gets wet, it is very much risk if we don't put off the battery immediately .Because,as and electronics device it is run by current, when it gets wet the different components(parts) with different current (+ve and -ve) are sort. So, when we put battery/charger the internal components easily fused....So, the first aid is to put off the battery and contact mobile repairing shop.It could not be tried easily.....Therefore, I advise you to do not put the battery again, unless you visit mobile repairing shop.If you are trying to power it on by yourself repeatedly without any knowledge, most of the components may damage more worse.Good luck. Thanks for visiting fixya

My Canon Powershot SD 400 won't download photos to my computer. I have a brand new battery. When I connect the camera and turn it on my computer shows the device for a moment and tries to get the data. ...

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

The only functioning modes are the picture viewing & set up modes

Have Sony DSC-P73 with exact problem. Only turns on in SETUP mode and when switches to all other modes camera shuts off usually with lens extended. Have tried new batteries - new memory stick - new everything and nothing helped. I just took out the batteries and attached the AC ADAPTER and all works perfectly now so problem is with either batteries - battery compartment or battery connections. As long as you do not need a "PORTABLE" camera, using AC Adapter solves this problem :)
