Yes, there 'may' be a chance. Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove and then click on the program. If you're lucky it will offer to repair the installation. If the temporary install files are still on your PC then you'll be fine. If not, Corel does offer a disc replacement program. You'll asked to support your request with some explanation. Just don't tell them your dog got a hold of your disc. Say you lost it in a move/divorce, etc. anything plausible and if at all possible the truth as they actually use, believe it or not, truth meters on their phone lines that measure stress in your voice. Kind of sounds like SciFi, but sadly true based on all the fake calls they get.

    Good Luck,

Im not completely dense i just need step by step instruction on how to remove the harddrive and reinstall another for my acer aspire3004wlci and the only difference is the original 60 the new one is an 80

I don't have a diagram for you but flip it over, remove the screws on the hard drive cover, carefully remove the disk, remove the adapter from the disk and install it on the new one, reverse.
That should do it. It is not hard. Recognize you will have a "blank" disk and will need to reload everything.
Hope this information will help.

It's time to purchase a replacement disk-drive, and then to install Windows Vista onto it, and then connect the "old" drive as a 'SLAVE' disk-drive, to see if you can copy any files onto the "new" disk-drive.

It's possible that the only problem is that the replacement disk-drive needs to be "initialized" for first-time usage. Or, it's possible that your Dell won't support your new _larger_ disk-drive.

Did they send you a disk-drive with _greater_ capacity than your old 60GB drive?
It's possible that they "upgraded" you, because they had no (small) 60GB disk-drives in inventory.

Take your Dell "System Restore" set of CD/DVD disks, and reinstall Windows.
The Windows Installer will "initialize" your disk-drive.

Dropped my external hard drive

Unfortantly if you dropped the drive then most likely you killed the drive because it messed up the read system in the drive. Now the case its self should be fine so you might keep it in case you ever need an extra drive encloser.

Sorry for the bad news

this might fix your problem

Crashed hard drive on emachines T5026

Pardon me, but NO! The statement, "two things are responsible for booting up computer RAM and Hard Drive" is simply not true.

A hard drive crash COULD cause the symptoms you describe, but that is more indicative of a virus infection. When you say the XP reinstallation disk would not start it exactly how did you use that disk? Attempt to use the repair console? Boot directly from the disk? Attempt reinstallation of the whole operating system? If you attempted reinstallation, do you also have the specific drivers for all of the components E-Machines used when they built your computer (you will need at least some of them.)

Post again with some more details about how you used the reinstallation disk.

Lenovo T61error 2100: HDD0(hard disk drive)

To all users with: lenovo T61error 2100: HDD0(hard disk drive),

Possible cause:

  1. Corrupted hard disk logical sectror/hard disk logical error (bad format).
  2. Hard disk connector not well in place.
  3. Hard disk broken, physical fault.

  1. Format hard disk and reinstall system using a Windows setup CD.
  2. If that does not work the Hard disk must be removed to check thge connector, and to test the hard disk on a different computer.
  3. If the hard disk is bad , it must be replaced, and windows reinstalled repeating step one.
