Question about Pioneer Car Audio & Video
How do I convert the AUX2 rear output to an additional USB cable so I can sufficiently power my Western Digital 250GB Passport with a USB Y cord? Is there a simpler way to power a harddrive? Currently when I plug in the passport to the USB cable, the head unit just flashes USB over and over, so I am assuming I need more power to the 5200 rpm harddrive?
Could be that your Passport is NTFS formatted - the Pioneer units will only read FAT 32 formatted drives. Mine is working great with a 60GB drive.
