Here are the specifications of your monitor. I can not find a listing for a "reset".
As far as it not turning on, do you have a good video signal going to the unit. Alot of MONITORS will not function without a signal being input. (kind of smart power saver thing.)
Please insure that your video signal is on (dvd, VHS, Satelite), and to the proper input. select that input (I always go for input 1)
Make sure your plug is a live plug by testing it with a lamp (unless you have other things plugged in to it.
With out more technical info, i can go no further.

Good Luck.

If you are using the LG remote that came with the TV, try removing the batteries, pressing the buttons (to fix a stuck button), and reinstalling the old batteries or new ones. Then, try it out

I purchased a LG 32lx4dc tv from a hotel liquidator but i can't it to work at home? I don't have the remote. Can I access the menu using a universal remote? Will I ever get it to work at home?

Here is what worked for me:

1. On the LST-4100A box, there is a black, removable card with an F-connector (Cable In) and a RJ-11 (Data). Unscrew the two retaining screws and remove this card. There is an antenna-type connector on the inside that will need to be disconnected from the card.

2. Connnect the control box to the TV via the serial cable (Display Control).

3. Plug in power cables to TV and control box. Turn on TV.

4. There are two lights on the control box. Make sure the "Power" light is on solid and the "Status" light is flashing quickly. If not, cycle power on both the TV and the control box.

5. Press "Menu" and hold the button until the menu disappears.

6. Quickly, press "2 6 6 3" then press "Enter". A small menu should open in the upper left.

7. Scroll down to "DBox". Change to "Off". TV will restart.

8. Disconnect the serial cable from the TV. The remote controls should now work normally with the control box disconnected.

Have a 32 in 32lx4dcs that will not power down from either remote or the buttons, no button functionality what so ever. Item immediately turns on when plugged back in. How do i do a hard reset?

you can try unplugging the unit holding the power button for 10 - 15 seconds then plugging the unit back in. this issue is related to a signal fault carried by the main board in the unit. you may need a board replaced. to do a system reset you will need an LG service remote.

I received an LG 32LX4DC Flat Panel Television from a hotel. It came with a control box LG LST-4100A. I saw on the method to access the installer menu. However, I could not get the hidden menu...

Just an FYI if anyone is having this same problem a factory reset will solve the issue.Follow the above directions... "1. Press MENU repeatedly till it seems to not respond. 2. Enter 2-6-6-3 on the remote then Enter 3. At the top, it says ENTER PASSWORD 0000 4. Enter 9-8-7-6 then Enter 5. Installer Menu comes up scroll through the options until you see "factory reset" change the value from a 0 to a 1 with the arrow keys and then power the TV off. When you turn it back on it should be reset to factory defaults.

LG 32lx4dc will not operate by controls or remote. comes on and stays on one channel.

You could try going into the set-up menu & scrolling to the factory reset option, if this does not cure the problem then call your LG dealer for a service call so that the software version can be updated & a service reset should solve the problem
