well it looks to me u need a new tv....all the details u give are pointing that ur picture tube is gone.....but call LG help and costumer line and ask them......u may get away from it to get a new tv make sure when u get a new plasma to extend ur warren tie to a max o 3 to 5 years and if this would happend u get it repaires for free.......cost for a new screen app 1000 to 1500 dollars
the minute parts near the picture tube might have misaligned ,,,,,, you need to align those parts .... contact a good tv mechanic .... he will use a magnetic type material and align every minute parts correctly near the picture tube, the red line wont appear again
Hi, this is quite a common problem for plasma screens and LCD screens. The fluroscent backlight is more than likely faulty and would need replacing. The best thing to do is to take it to a service centre because there are no user servicable parts inside the plasma.
It may be a problem in the picture tube of your TV set. It may be because of various problems such as you might have wiped your TV screen with a cloth or some thing very harshly or your TV is in a position that it receives direct air from an AC or a room cooler.
If u have a plasma TV which do not have any picture tube then u may have pressed the screen hardly.
