SOURCE: I have a kleenmaid KFL

Hi

Error 5 in your Kleenmaid is displayed when there is no communication between electronic timer and Inverter. If the machine is washing and communication between the motor control module and main board fails, the machine will pause for one minute. The machine will try to start three more times. On the fourth attempt it will stop immediately. If the temperature of the water in the tub is higher than 60 degrees the machine will fill cold for 30 seconds then pump out for two minutes and the failure will be displayed. To solve this issue you'll have to check the motor control board and the main board, the part that is bad should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I have a kleenmaid washing machine its about 30 yrs old and still runs well but it is now leaking oil from under the adjitator how do i fix it.

Sounds like the seal for the transmission is leaking oil through the seal. You will need to remove the tub or turn the machine upside down to remove the transmission and replace the seal. That is if the seal is still made.

Kleenmaid top loader replace timer

Kleenmaid timers do fail from time to time. Reconditioned timers are a viable remedy and not as expensive as new ones. Depending on where in oz you are, a tech will have to sight the faulty timer to ensure the correct replacement unit. You can't rely on model number alone........Nomess
